We take pride in delivering constructive and insightful feedback, with authors having the option to decide whether their reviews are published and shared publicly. Reviews may be free if one of our reviewers is available and willing to take on the book, typically within 12 months or longer. For those who prefer a guaranteed quicker turnaround, we offer the service at an affordable rate compared to similar options in the market.

📖 Reader Reviews
To cater to a wider range of budgets, timelines, and preferences, we also offer a free or affordable reader review service. We connect with our global network of readers and provide them with a free copy of your book in exchange for an honest review. These readers may or may not be professional reviewers, but they are all avid readers who offer their own genuine perspectives. Their reviews may appear on our platform, partner platforms, or both, and can be used by authors and publishers just like our editorial reviews. (Some readers also choose to post their reviews voluntarily on blogs, social media, websites, or other platforms. However, posting on third-party platforms is never guaranteed to be done for any book because it is subject to reader discretion.) Free reader reviews depend on reader availability and interest, and may take 12 months or longer. Paying clients do not pay us for the reviews, but for the service of finding readers who will provide a sincere and independent review—whether within a guaranteed faster timeframe or with added services and coverage.

🚫 Third-Party Reviews
We do not offer, sell, or guarantee ratings or reviews on third-party platforms. However, we allow our professional BREW reviewers to post reader reviews on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads, social media, websites, blogs, and other platforms—as long as what they post is worded differently from their BREW reviews and that they only do so voluntarily and out of their own volition. Unfortunately, because these reader reviews are posted voluntarily, we are unable to remove, monitor, or control the format, quality, content, rating system, or timing of these reviews that users choose to publish—or not publish—on third-party platforms. Our clients’ books may or may not receive voluntary reviews on third-party platforms.
🚫 Guaranteed Positive Reviews or Awards
BREW editorial and reader reviews are honest and constructive—not always glowing—and our BREW book awards are earned, not bought. Authors may choose to unpublish or withhold any public BREW review of their books for any reason, although they cannot negotiate a more positive review or higher rating even if they provide an updated copy of their work later on. If a book has areas for improvement, authors receive private feedback and can decide whether to implement the reviewer’s recommendations or publish the review on our website. (However, as we earlier stated, due to the voluntary nature of reader reviews, we cannot unpublish reviews our readers post voluntarily on third-party platforms.) Award results are based on transparent, trackable public voting and/or judging panel decisions made by our BREW Laureate Council experts, depending on the category. Authors or publishers may request post-judging feedback at the time of award nomination to understand why their book did not win.

While we also showcase works by established and renowned authors, our mission is to make professional literary support accessible.
