Dragons have always represented the untamed might of nature, representing both knowledge and destruction in equal measure. By drawing on this age-old mythology, Wayward Wings offers a sophisticated examination of what it means to be both misunderstood and feared. The main character, Caizhiu, emerges from her cocoon changed; she is now bigger and stronger but also more cut off from her human friends. The story takes readers on a visceral trip through a world where survival depends on shifting allegiances and inner strength as she sets out on a quest for redemption.
The novel weaves a complex tale of Caizhiu’s quest to bring a human to justice under the command of a mysterious Keeper.
