The Chrysalis Books, Reviews, and Everything Written (BREW) Project is proud to announce the following February 2022 BREW Readers’ Choice awardees:

  • Rona D Drinkard for her women’s fiction “Friendship Matters,”
  • Priscilla B Shuler for her Christian fiction “Daddy Jack’s Place,” and
  • Jude Austin for her sci-fi realism “Project Tau.”

This isn’t the first time that the three authors have received recognition for their published works. Rona D Drinkard’s “Friendship Matters” has won a 2021 Firebird Award and is an Indies Today finalist. Meanwhile, Priscilla B Shuler and Jude Austin both have multiple literary awards and bestselling books.

A version of this write-up also appears on openPR and, at one point in time, on Google News.

As a caterpillar goes out of its dark cocoon, grows its wings, and flies high up in the sky, I acknowledge my role in the entire process of the written word's metamorphosis through The Chrysalis BREW Project. I believe that beauty and goodness exist in everything and everyone - may we let that emerge and shine in each word we read, concoct, write, or share.
