“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.”

– Franklin D. Roosevelt, Great Speeches

The future is not certain. We do not have much control over it. We can only do a few things to shape the future as per our ideals. What we can do is bring up our children in such a way that they will be ready for anything that life throws at them. For that, we need to bestow them with life lessons and ethical values. What better way to do that than to introduce our little ones to the majestic world of books?

It is undeniable that times have changed now. Our children are constantly dealing with the never-ending lure of academic pressure, video games, and social media. They, seldom have the time or the interest to enmesh themselves in a good book. As adults, it is up to us to introduce them to reading. However, it is difficult to find a read that can hold your little ones’ attention for long.

Fret not, I am here with some surefire reads that will keep your children hooked. Let us have a look at some award-winning children’s books that you can gift your little ones.

Reading is my passion, and writing is my compulsion. I started reading from a very early age. Since then, I have not stopped. I have garnered this addiction from my father. I have always loved reading his books. As you can see, books are my world. I escape this world to traverse the world of my books. Naturally, I have an affinity to create worlds of my own. There are thoughts constantly swirling in my head. These are the thoughts that I jot down. Sometimes, they become poems while sometimes stories. More often than not, they are just reviews of the plethora of books I read and the things I do.
