“And books, they offer one hope that a whole universe might open up from between the covers, and falling into that universe, one is saved.”

– Anne Rice, Blackwood Farm

Anne Rice’s book’s title and theme – that she has always been known for – may mean something else. Yet it doesn’t mean that her words are bereft of truth and significance.

While her recent demise had been mourned with a funeral service may have been deliberately made private, her words continue to resonate to those whose lives had been touched by her legacy.

For book lovers, bibliophiles, bookworms, avid readers, and the rest of the flock, books have an enigmatic charm and magnet that keep us coming back for more. With books, the possibilities are not limited to the grasp of our mortal minds. The pages of a book have something more in store. For people who have great faith, there would be a book that could even provide the salvation from world chaos and despair.
