Tooth and Claw by Robert Appleton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It’s the 20th century and the famed age of steam. Modernization is on the rise, and machines are making significant headway in aiding society towards ease and convenience. Yet, losing her father recently and left with the meager conditions of their family’s dire circumstances, it isn’t the best time for Beth at all. As out of time and place dinosaurs suddenly wreak havoc on everyone’s day, would her life change to something better at all? One has to read this exquisitely written piece by an award contender to find out.
