In words we hold the truth,
Sometimes a gentle lie,
And the footnote of life will read:
Darling, it's only humanity.
In strength we fail,
We falter and fall
The one good to come of it,
Is that we have the promise of more.
We craft soft illusions
To hold and to save
And through the means of partial living,
We have the strength to remain. - Poet's Bio: K.J. Poesy is a writer from the coast of Western Australia, determined to empty the mind regardless of what remains. With over twenty novels tucked in the desk drawer and two up for publishing, the poems tend to escape.
