Poem:
to the unsaid
a word
to the unseen
an eye
to the footprints
moonlight
to the wakeful
a lullaby
to indecision
the thin line
to enough
an end
to the mirror
a kind face
to god
a friend
to the muse
an ink drop
to the rainbow
some gray
to the ground
some roof
to departing
"stay"
to the full stop
a comma
to speeding
a brake
to the white skinned
colour blindness
to reality
a fake
to the blind
a third eye
to the crumpled
a hand
to destiny
a blank palm
to eternity
the last stand. - Poet's Bio: Devashish Makhija has written the award-winning novel Oonga; the collection of short-stories Forgetting; two poetry collections Occupying Silence and Bewilderness; several best-selling picture books for children; the international, National and Filmfare award-winning films Joram, Bhonsle, Ajji, and several widely-acclaimed short films.
