A Beautiful Dare by Natasha Lester
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Imagine a time when a woman makes her only if she’s able to land herself a great marriage. It’s a time knitting and making one’s self as visually appealing are great skills to have. It’s when intellectual pursuits are reserved for men, and those who take medical degrees are tagged as too promiscuous. Can you live in such an age?
Well, that was exactly how times had been for this story’s protagonist. It was the 1920s and quite so different from our society today. Evie was so ahead of her time, but would she make it through?
Check out this enthralling, well-written short story to know more.
