“Life is a drama full of tragedy and comedy. You should learn to enjoy the comic episodes a little more.”

– Jeannette Walls, The Glass Castle

Life is nothing short of a movie. It is full of action, drama, comedy, and angst. Sometimes, life makes us laugh out loud whereas other times or makes us cry tears of angst. In the last few years, we all have seen some pretty dark stuff. The pandemic and the number of wars have left the world numb with terror and tragedy. Despite this, we should never let life get the best of us. Finding little moments of joy and snippets of laughter are the things that we all need to live a sane and healthy life. Keeping this in mind, Indian Dr. Madan Kataria first came up with the concept of World Laughter Day in the year 1998. Since then, every first Sunday in the month of May is celebrated as World Laughter Day worldwide.

Reading is my passion, and writing is my compulsion. I started reading from a very early age. Since then, I have not stopped. I have garnered this addiction from my father. I have always loved reading his books. As you can see, books are my world. I escape this world to traverse the world of my books. Naturally, I have an affinity to create worlds of my own. There are thoughts constantly swirling in my head. These are the thoughts that I jot down. Sometimes, they become poems while sometimes stories. More often than not, they are just reviews of the plethora of books I read and the things I do.
