I Love You As Much And More Than This by R.M. Rozman is a collection of verses that enables us to express our love to our loved ones in unique ways.

Review

Life is short and we all have a million things to accomplish. In our quest to do as many things as we possibly can, we often forget the most important of them all. It slips our minds to express our love to our loved ones. Have you ever wondered how heartwarming it would be if someone you adored told you how much they love you? If yes, do take the first step and express your affection to your loved ones as often as you can. Now, you might be wondering if telling someone “I love you” over and again can become tedious. Worry not. R.M. Rozman has come up with the perfect book that will help you express your love in unique ways.

In his illustrated book, I Love You As Much And More Than This, R.M. Rozman brings to us a plethora of ways to say I love you. Rozman has been married to his high-school sweetheart, Wendy, for over thirty years. In the initial years of their relationship, they started coming up with various ways to say how much they loved each other. Over the years, they had three children. An adorable Yorkie named Squirt joined their lovely family. The tradition of saying how much they loved each other trickled down to the kids as well as their beloved pets. Over time, it became a competition and everyone tended to avoid repeating a phrase used before. Naturally, the Rozman family came up with many beautiful ways to say I love you. R.M. Rozman compiles many of these sayings and gives them a lyrical form in his book. Squirt, who passed away on May 22, 2021, features in this book of love.

I Love You As Much And More Than This by R.M. Rozman is a heartwarming collection of verses of love. I have to say none of the lines sound cliche. They are all unique and are sure to make anyone beam with happiness. I constantly had a smile plastered on my face when reading these lovely verses. The best part is that the lines of love have a universal appeal. You can use any line from this book to shower love on your parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and even your romantic partner. Anyone you love can be made happy through any verse from this book. Also, I love that the book has a poetic feel to it. This gives a buoyant feeling to the reader.

R.M. Rozman’s I Love You As Much And More Than This is wonderfully illustrated by usillustrations.com. The book is colorful and jovial. The beautiful illustrations of the forests, oceans, zoo, candy store, kitchen, bedroom, cave, sky, tornado, and Halloween, among others, are sure to bring joy to younger readers right along with the adults. The pictures match the content and add a fun aspect to the reading. Squirt appears on all the pages. We are delighted by his cute antics. I loved his pencil drawing by Jeannie Leary.

Overall, I Love You As Much And More Than This by R.M. Rozman is an exceptional book. The short read will take very little of your time. In that short time, it is bound to add a lot of value to your life. I recommend this book of love to everyone who wants to take a moment and make their loved ones feel special by telling them how much they love them. Dog lovers will especially enjoy this book.

Reading is my passion, and writing is my compulsion. I started reading from a very early age. Since then, I have not stopped. I have garnered this addiction from my father. I have always loved reading his books. As you can see, books are my world. I escape this world to traverse the world of my books. Naturally, I have an affinity to create worlds of my own. There are thoughts constantly swirling in my head. These are the thoughts that I jot down. Sometimes, they become poems while sometimes stories. More often than not, they are just reviews of the plethora of books I read and the things I do.

  1. There was a movie, back when I was a kid. It’s called “Left Luggage” but it was translated to Spanish as “Never say goodbye without saying I love you.” For some reason, I took that as a motto. And I think it’s an important one. I’m glad this lovely book talks about this.

    1. That’s a beautiful motto to live by, and it’s wonderful that it left such a lasting impression on you from a young age. It’s heartening to see that this lovely book reinforces such an important message about expressing love and appreciation to those we care about. Here’s to spreading kindness and affection in our relationships, just like the sentiment captured in “Never Say Goodbye Without Saying I Love You.”
